Mmm. Yeah. Watched that every single day when I was out sick with chicken pox at 12. When I got better, I went and got her haircut.
It's a great haircut!
You all have seen Bad Company, with Ellen Barkin and Laurence Fishburne, right?
Laurence is so great in that movie. One of my favorite nineties neo-noirs.
I've thought he was great since he was Furious Styles in Boys N The Hood.(Although that character's fondness for "Ooh, Child," is part of that, as is the greatness of being named "Furious Styles")

What? Didn't you watch Pee Wee's Playhouse?
Or Apocalypse Now, for that matter.
LF is the best gay cowboy ever.
Oh, right.
Yeah, but people *do* forget stuff on occasion. Dag.
mmmm Cowboy Curtis. droool.

Loved this. Such a wonderfully nasty, cynical movie. Although, much like with THE GRIFTERS, I kinda wanted to take a shower afterwards.
Other great Fishburne roles:
The undercover cop in DEEP COVER (although Jeff Goldblum is the one who walks away with the movie)
Jimmy Jump in KING OF NEW YORK (where HE walks away with a movie that includes Christopher Walken, Giancarlo Esposito, Steve Buscemi, Wesley Snipes and David Caruso all doing superlative work).
Other great Fishburne roles:
I quite liked him in Othello - he had that slightly brittle (almost manic, but not hyper) quality that I always associate with the role.
That Oscar nom he got for What's Love Got to Do with It? is well-deserved, IMO. He had the charm and viciousness in equal amounts.
