'Serenity'
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Because the scene with Hold On does that to me every single time.
By that scene, he was curled in a ball laughing helplessly ("They know the harmony!"). The scene that broke him was "I'm sorry, I don't think I understand you, LeAnn. One hole or two?"
I watched Punch-Drunk Love again this evening and ever since the world has slightly, kinda taken its shape. I love when that happens.
I just watched Babel.
What a waste of time. A sublime combination of boring AND pointless.
agreed, P-C. though Adriana Barraza deserves her Oscar nom. she was wonderful.
The funniest part of Harold & Kumar is putting in the disc and Not pressing Play.
I thought because Harold and Kumar was a surprisingly hilarious stoner comedy, I would find Super Troopers entertaining.
I was wrong.
OK now that is odd. I laughed my ass off at Super Troopers but I found Harold & Kumar just ok.
Very strange. A friend of mine really loves Super Troopers, so I just gave it a try, and I didn't find it funny at all. Maybe because I didn't really care about the characters, whereas Kal Penn and John Cho make their characters fun and likable.
Hey P-C it's nice to "chat" with you. I'm lagaratica on ym if you want to chat more.
Unfortunately I don't have much else to say about Harold & Kumar or Super Troopers.
