Buffista Movies 5: Development Hell
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Is John Bowe still acting? He was the original George Marlowe on the first Prime Suspect, and even more memorably IMO, he was the weaver Cestor Woodseaves in Precious Bane, which I saw on Masterpiece Theatre and completely fell in love with him.

I'd love to see the BBC production of Precious Bane again. The book is great too.
That was the first thing I ever saw Clive Owen in, and he looked completely different than he does now! Of course, it was 17 years ago, so I'd expect him to be younger-looking, but the difference is striking.

Nodding so hard my head is about to fall off.
