Well, they're about 15 years late to hire David Lean for the project, so I'm interested to find out just who the studio thinks will be able to do another film set in Middle Earth that won't seem horribly inferior to Jackson's movies. Do they even own the New Zealand sets for the Shire, or are those the property of Wingnut Films?
Buffista Movies 5: Development Hell
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
I wonder if the prequel is what they(MGM) were talking about when they said stuff about using material from the footnotes.
We send our very best wishes to whomever has the privilege of making The Hobbit and look forward to seeing the film on the big screen.
Bzzt! Wrong, Peter!
We got to go there - but not back again ...
Aw.
Teaser for the next Harry Potter film.
I must be getting a wierd thing - I only got about 10 seconds.
That's all it is. It's like a teaser for a teaser.

MORE.
I WANT MORE.
So, it did it's job.
Plenty of Snape in that 10 seconds. (Fortunately!)
Stephen took the kids to Happy Feet yesterday and got a trailer for Order of the Phoenix.

Cool.
But you didn't see it, did you Amyliz? So you can't say how good it was?
When I was coming back from the grocery store there was a woman with her kids who was just coming back from Happy Feet. (Which they all enjoyed.)
