Well, as soon as I posted I realized what one was, because yes, it is that obvious, and I am that dumb. And then I saw the hint someone gave P-C about the tunnel and got it. So now I'm down to the kids, the map, and the guys on the stairs.
P-C, I actually got the lantern-guy pretty early by thinking of movies that should be included, and then looking at the picture.
And, crazy guy's momma is SHOCKING! Plus, there is a shower involved.

Beej, have you looked carefully along the edges/corners?
Beej, did you do the stairs? Not the green M&M or the two guys with the backs to each other, but the actual stairs? That confused me for a bit.
Okay Beej, I'ma see if I can list all fifty clues in another post. If I can, I'll post them whitefont and see if you can find what you're missing.

I got this one because I thought of famous horror movies, misidentified what the baby might be, and then realized it worked for the kids.

It seems like they have irreconcilable differences, like one of them did something and the other still holds it against him.

And thanks for the prompts everyone. I DID check the corners and I did get the stairs. I'm wondering if some answer I gave early on registered on the picture but not on the counter. Grasping there, but I can't find any other explanation.

I used this strategy too, but it got me into trouble at one point because I kept trying to find a place to include: Near Dark , given the theme and all. Plus, I tried to use the correct title for lantern guy on every light on the whole canvas!
I'm still stuck on the kids, the reaper, and the map. Plus, two clues that haven't been mentioned that I can't seem to find. I think I got all the sides and corners though.
Beej -- there are two up in/near the tower that I didn't see for a while. Or are you sure all 3 M&Ms are blacked out, since only their props change color?
I'm down to the kids. I hate those kids. I'll reread what people already said since I skimmed.
