Well,it took me 45 minutes to get 36 of them, and I'm stumped by the rest. (I dont' even see all 14 remaining options).

Buffista Movies 5: Development Hell
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Check out the very edges and corners.
Ah! OK, got 'em. Thanks, dcp!
Aronofsky and Watson are planning an adaptation of Flicker, Theodore Roszak's novel about a critic who sees subliminal portents of the apocalypse in B movies.
I've read this book! Interesting choice. I'm going to love seeing them recreate the early film society days at the beginning of the book. Also the finale will be fascinating.
Not to mention if they're even going to attempt to duplicate the experience of viewing a Max Castle or Simon Dunkel movie.
I'm at 37 on the MnM quiz and it is driving me crazy.
I am completely flummoxed by: The signs. I keep wanting that one to be 'Wrong Turn' but that isn't getting me anywhere
and the Woman with the kids? Not 'the Others'.
and the Ballgown is the David Lynch movie, but what else? Not the Stepford Wives?
and the planets nothing to do with Mars or When World's Collide?
And, I just want to say, that a few of the titles are not what I'd call 'horror' films per se. Not even all that dark, in some cases.
I'm just feeling inferior...when I'm usually pretty good with movie titles!
Describe them? I got some of those. But I'm only 25/50 right now.
The ones I still don't have figured out:
The fish swallowing a string of pearls or something in the lower left hand corner.
The three children dancing in a circle.
The woman wrangling two kids.
The guy with a lantern.
The guy in a straight jacket (it's not "The Jacket").
The three people looking at a map.
The group of people wearing zeroes and arguing.
The green M&M in the blue dress.
The stairs.
The pile of jack-o-lanterns.
Beej:
You're so close to the answer for the group of signs, it's not even funny.
Also, Beej?
The planets? While the answer is not When Worlds Collide (which I thought it was at first, too), one of those words is in the title of the film that is the correct answer.
Seany!! I saw your speakers at Universal! Good speakers! YAY speakers!
Hee! Hi Aims. We had fun striking everything yesterday. And it went quick, too.
