Harmony: Somebody remembered to pick me up the sweetest unicorn. Guess someone was feeling guilty for standing me up in tenth grade. Brad: What? Had to get her something. She sired me. Peaches: Sire-whipped.

Buffista Movies 5: Development Hell

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

I also thought about mentioning The Mummy 2 because, while I love the first one, I was in actual physical pain from the second.

I actually liked Mummy Returns. Not a lot, but I liked it

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Underworld wasn't good, but I can't really say that it bored me.

My take on Underworld was that it was terrible, but in exactly the manner it had to be to entertain me mightily. If they'd had a better actor (and character name) for Kraven and werewolf designs by Rick Baker/Greg Cannom, it would have been perfect.

How about Pointless Sequels Yet To Be Made?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So will it be Snakes on a Plane 2 or something more exotic like More (New?) Snakes on Some Other Plane or will they change up the snakes and/or vehicle?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So will it be Snakes on a Plane 2 or something more exotic like More (New?) Snakes on Some Other Plane or will they change up the snakes and/or vehicle?

They need to up the dramatic tension by adding more ambiguity:

Planes, Trains and Automobiles 2: There Might Be Snakes On Them, Or There Might Not.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

You guys are totally missing the Freudian aspects of SoaP:
