Willow ,'Bring On The Night'
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Heh. More lowbrow than American Pie, I suppose? Hard to imagine.
Brow-wise, they're equal enough. It's just it doesn't hold as prominent a place in the popular consciousness as the American Pie films.
Hmmm. It looks kind of painted, like it's not quite a live action film. But I don't think I've actually seen the movie, because I don't have any bells ringing.
I've put in all the Madonna movies I know for #23 without consulting IMDb, but so far, no dice. Woe.
I haven't seen it either, which I hate to admit. You have definitely seen at least part of it, I'm sure.
Got 8 on the 1st one and 21 on the second. The part that sucks is they say they use the international titles for some of them, and I really don't feel like going to IMDB and hunting around while taking what's supposed to be a fun quiz.
I got all but three and none of them had weird titles. I do wonder if that's why we can't get the Madonna one. Did anyone figure it out?
Megan, it's Four Rooms. (I cheated and looked at IMDb. *hangs head*)
The second quiz had three non-English films and all of the answers were in the translated English titles. The first one has one foreign title (of the ones I could guess correctly) but it's the title that's known as for American audience.
Thanks Vonnie. I should probably see that one of these days. BTW, #3 is Taxi Driver .
ETA: I figured out #21. It is not an American film.
#3: D'oh! OF COURSE.
Then there is the original quiz. Hmm. Got 24/30 in that one. #12 looks like it should be a Cronenberg film, but not what I thought it was. And #24 looks really, really familiar.

Not Cronenberg. You were thinking eXistenZ, right? There's another movie about computerized realities that involves humans with ports and sockets. A little more popular and well known.
20/30.
