A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Well, for starters...
I'd also like to point out this, according to IMDB about 44 at the time of filming.
Have I mentioned in the last eleven minutes that he likes carrots?
The Searchers segregates the initiated from the uninitiated; and so it is widely considered, by the initiated, at least, to be among the four or five best movies of all time.
Why did the curriculum attach so intensely to so obviously flawed a movie?
The Worst Best Movie
Heh. Love that movie, but I might agree that "enjoyable" is not necessarily a good word to describe it. Although a lot of the review just sounds like someone trying to stir shit up. Which, when it occurs in film critic circles, can be a lot of fun.
So, looks like Keith Richards will be Sparrow's father in the next PotC, currently filming.
Okay I know Depp based his portrayal on Keith Richards but I always thought that Tom Waits would be an ideal Sparrow's dad.
Well, for starters...
and then there's this.
Yum and double yum.
Man, it's a finely aged hotness buffet in here!
I approve.
Kevin Smith's Superman script.
Huh. I can definitely see where the "Fanboy's wet dream, confused Joe Public" assessment came from. Some cool moments, but overall it felt kind of klunky.
Apparently this script is post-tampering by the director, considering the existance of polar bears and a giant robot spider.
Also, in Superman:TAS Luthor's valet/bodyguard is name Mercy. In the script it's Misty. Is there a Mercy/Misty character in the comics?
Kevin Smith had me on the floor talking about the robot spider in "An Evening With Kevin Smith" especially when it showed up in Wild wild West.
