Man, it's a finely aged hotness buffet in here!

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Kevin Smith's Superman script.
Huh. I can definitely see where the "Fanboy's wet dream, confused Joe Public" assessment came from. Some cool moments, but overall it felt kind of klunky.
Apparently this script is post-tampering by the director, considering the existance of polar bears and a giant robot spider.
Also, in Superman:TAS Luthor's valet/bodyguard is name Mercy. In the script it's Misty. Is there a Mercy/Misty character in the comics?
Kevin Smith had me on the floor talking about the robot spider in "An Evening With Kevin Smith" especially when it showed up in Wild wild West.
JZ, I'd like you to know that the last picture alone moved S&A to the top of my queue. And ruined my concentration for 10 minutes.

Yeah, Mercy crossed over into the comics.

The DCAU, your number one source for female sidekicks to established villians!
I'm curious, then, why KS changed the name to Misty.
Yeah, Mercy crossed over into the comics.
She was also in a Smallville episode, I think.

I figured I was in trouble when I saw Bill Nighy in Love, Actually.
Snakes on a Plane in French poster
How sad that the tagline in French reverts to the plain-old "relax, sit back, and enjoy the flight" instead of the play on words.
