Unfortunately, occasionally Karl Urban actually acted, which threw the quality of the rest of the movie into stark contrast.
Hee!! He's the only reason I would consider watching that movie (same with the Riddick flick). At least Bourne Supremacy had other things going for it in addition to Karl Urban.
Plus, a Marine calling other Marines "soldier?!?" Dude.
What do they call each other? "Marine"? Is it only the Army who refer to each other as "soldier"?
Well, the Navy calls its people "sailor," so I believe Marines are tinkers and the Coast Guard is full of tailors.

Saw The Proposition. It's a very violent western with a screenplay by Nick Cave.
Fun times.
I saw The Break-Up and Over The Hedge today.
The Break-Up is NOT the light-hearted comedy being sold in the trailers. It's not a heavy drama, but it's definitely not as much fun to watch as the promos would have you believe. A lot of it is pretty painful to watch -- it's far more realistic than it's being sold. Which isn't to say it's a bad movie, but it's definitely not a comedy, or at least, not primarily so. DH and I came out taking completely opposite sides regarding the relationship, interestingly.
Over the Hedge is the first Dreamworks Animated movie since Antz that I've liked at all. (Yes, I hated both Shrek movies. A lot.) It's still filled with one-dimensional stock characters, but they're very funny stock characters and the voice work is terrific. Steve Carrell (the hyperactive squirrel) is especially hysterical.
Interesting... the trailers for Breaking Up made it look plenty painful to watch to me. My impression was that Jennifer Aniston would be channeling Rachael Green's most annoying "you should read my mind so you can better cater to my romantic expectations" traits, and Vince Vaughn would be playing the same smug asshole he always does, only without any hint of charm or humor.
