I don't hate either of them outright, but it takes a lot to sell me on pics of Maggie G. She's kinda funnylooking.
OOOH, a challenge.
Or not.
Wash ,'War Stories'
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

I just read that George Lucas will be releasing the original theaterical releases of Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi on dvd.
Of course he is.
The Redux versions of the original 3 just exacerbated demand for these. He's Bill Gates, in his own way.
It's New Coke and Coke Classic all over again.
Coke Classic shot first.
Le Bloke left Alexander: The Director's cut here, and I'm bored. But am I that bored? I haven't seen either version. Is it worth it?
Only if you're thinking about cleaning out the fridge or something.
Ah. I got distracted following Lost ARG clues 'round the interbunny anyway. I'd heard it was crap, I just didn't know how crap.
It's worth watching if you play the "drink every time Colin Farrell cries" game while doing so.
(I actually really enjoyed it -- it fails in such a massive and spectacular fashion, and that sort of movie is one of my guilty pleasures in life. Between the crying, and Angelina Jolie's accent (with SNAKES!), and the 40-minute long flashback at exactly the wrong moment, it's kind of fascinating to see just how wrong it goes.)
It's the sort of film I'd rather enjoy watching with a few other classics graduates so we can rip the ever-loving piss out of it from on high, then?
Plus, drinking game.
