Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You didn't see it either, huh, Matt? I seem to have blocked the ads entirely.

Brokeback Squadron.

After seeing her in two previous superhero movies? Oh dear God, no. The commercials were traumatic enough.

Is it good or bad that the Slither trailer made me laugh until tears came to my eyes?

I do think that's the goal, but as much as I love Nathan, I can't get past my slugphobia. Fast-moving slugs in bathubs are just more than I can stand.

The Slither trailer was hilarious!

I'll pass on the movie, though. The trailer was enough. I doubt the film will be an improvement.

I suspect that I'll see Slither. Not sure if I'll spring to see it in the theater--it may be a "rent the dvd so I can make mocking noises in my living room" kind of thing.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Will Slither be better than Snakes on a Plane ?

Probably not.

Well, it's not as high concept, but I suspect more of the humour will be intentional.

Did Snakes on a Plane have Air Supply music? I think not.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Yeah, but Snakes on a Plane has Samuel Motherfuckin' L. Jackson.

Fresh off the Eugene Levy movie? Man, he's lost a bit of his shine.
