Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That's like, Super!UnKosher. Maybe you could work some lobster in there somewhere, too.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I don't think you can braise something in a crock pot.

That would be stewing not braising. Which I'm sure will be fine if you want a milky porky stew.

It's not super-unkosher unless you use pig's milk, brenda.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Or give it a cape and sic it on Nilly should she be bitten by something and turn evil.

That's what I was thinking too, until I saw this [link] foodie guy who thinks otherwise.

I'm mostly concerned about cooking a little and then fridging. I'm willing to experiment with the meat.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm willing to experiment with the meat.

Yeah, I've heard that too.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I don't think you can braise something in a crock pot.

I'm no chef, but I thought that braising vs stewing was based on the amount of liquid used in the cooking process, not the pot. If the liquid covers the meat, it's a stew, if it doesn't, it's a braise.

But yeah, kind of funny on the unkosher.

Ah, if you only knew

I'm sorry, I'm just not that kind of experimental meat.

More news! Last night, never-met-anyone-on-the-internet woman tried to call me! We appear to be past her concerns on the issue. Huzzah! Unfortunately, she didn't get through, for reasons which I'm at a loss to figure out. (Maybe she wrote the number down wrong.) Anyway, it seems that conversation is in my future. And that I'm playing hard to get. Hooray!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Whoohoo, billytea! You're on a roll, now. Zoo dates, internet groupies and bathing beauties at work, what more could one ask for?

Cass, this place looked pretty. [link]
