All this House talk makes me happy because GG and I discovered that it is a great show for us. We're 5 (or 6?) episodes into the first season, and loving it.

Now I REALLY want somebody to write that Buffy/House fic with Dawn at the hospital that somebody (DCJ?) suggested, though.

For another view of the resume question, I just got this from my sis (hivebrain!):

So one of my busy work jobs that I’m doing today is sending out rejection letters to people that applied for the Marketing Manager position. The title makes the job sound really important, but it's more to sell the title since they can’t compensate anyone in a reasonable way. I should be a rejection manager dammit. They can at least give me that for $9 an hour. ANYWAY- the point is….i’m starting to feel really good about my own resume after reading through the absolutely RETARDED ONES that people actually send in. Seriously, it makes me sad. One that I just read had an “Extracurricular Activities” section before ANY kind of education or anything and it said:

“Extracurricular Activites: Chatting, writing, Watching TV, and cooking/eating, and bead work”

WHAT?!??!!?! Who writes that on their freaking resume??????

Other Extracurricular Activites: Chewing/swallowing, maintenance of somatic functions, blinking, bathing, wearing shoes (demonstrated mastery of both laces and Velcro closures).

My hobbies include Random capitalizations and writing meandeering Lists which I don't bother to spellchcek. I am good at brown-nosing, sucking up, and pretending I know what you're talking about even when I don't.

Extracurricular activities: padding resumes. Sorry, I meant expanding, extending, embellishing, prolonging, inflatig, redundifying, shizzolating, and otherwise padding resumes.

Wasn't there something about Stephen Fry guest-starring on House sometime?

I have not seen anything official, SF has said Laurie is trying to get him to guest star either as an extremely nasty doctor, or an extremely nice one.

Other than that, only in my (and, I'm sure other's) wishing and brief musings of fic possibilities, that I know of. I want SF to guest as a man who thinks he's a literary figure--an english manservant--and that House was his "man."

I want House to snidely refer to SF as "Jeeves." And Fry to say "Yes, sir?" in that Jeevesian way.

Actually Andi (Windsparrow) is the one who suggested it. I believe she feels that (a now older and more mature) Dawn would be a good match as an intern or a young doc that wouldn't take crap from House.
