[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm getting the pig!

Damn. Totally meant to tell Beej that her V-day sounds wonderful and that if there's any dinner leftovers, I want them. Because... YUM!

PCP=usually a monkey with a bottle of Motrin. (Nah. Doctors and I do have a love-hate, though...they saved my life but couldn't stop the brain damage...buy my wheelchair parts without knowing what the hell I'm asking about and repeatedly ask about my disability "affecting children" whereupon I wish I was House so I could say "What do you think I started out as? A fish?" But, you know, ready supply of BJGs. And my impulse to defend some doctors(if not DoctorKind, which has some serious 'splaining to do in re the botched procedures on my bunkies)has cost me some allies as regards the whole Schiavo thing, but I refuse to believe they are all Von Liebermans cackling in glee as the death trucks round us up.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Not as such. But....still good.

Well done!

joyfully raises hand

Go Beej! That sounds lovely.

Compassionately intolerant

Amazingly, the scampi is MUCH better today. I'm going to have to remember that and make the sauce a day in advance.

The meal really was yummy Nicole. And not that hard to prepare.

I have scampi, noodles, salad and broccoli in the office fridge for lunch. I will drive my coworkers insane with the smells...and then not share...I'm evil that way. But I AM going to bring them the rest of the cake tomorrow. It should not coexist in my house...with my mouth. The two of them are way too friendly.

Thanks David. It really was. There was much tentative...um, this is too good too soon to not be scary...followed by a lot of what the hell, we're goin' for it! And how about that future, eh?

So yeah. Quite lovely.

Unless you count the House orgasm conversation, no. But Bio never affected me like that in school.(If it had, I'd have been alone a lot less. Or a lot more. But you'd be talking to a scientist now.) Maybe my brother is right about the loser curse.

I think that "Well done!" should be more properly directed at the boy....

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Fay sighting - sounds like an awesome way to spend time.

t saddens me that my original post may have caused readers to think I have a bad attitude about this. The truth is that I have been a big supporter of the idea of increasing staff proficiency with signing so we could understand this lady better. The problem is how it has been put into practice.

really, I thought you sounded fustrated at the how things were happening. It wasn't a well though out plan. It looked like a lot of work with the possiblility of it not meeting the goal of better client communication.

Beth, is DH still here or getting back soon?

Roadboy is not in NY. he is in Reno. Today he could a) continue working in Reno b) come home c) end up going to Milwalke( due to a sick coworker who has a sinus infection and Should not go on a plane) and not coming home for the weekend.

C would be the bad one. B sounds good, but it means extra work another time, so not good.

DH has not yet laughed in the faces of project managers. not quite. A PM said they needed one of Matt's crew for up to 4 weeks somewhere in the next 8 weeks. DH should have laughed. His entire crew is booked solid for the next 8 weeks

Did I just write that my brother was right? I need to stay out of the migraine medicine! Forget I said that.

Ick ick ick. My Dad is still in the hospital (all tests have shown NOTHING amiss with his GI tract; very frustrating), and he called me just now to tell me that the tests turned up nothing. In the course of the conversation, he used the words "groin" and "testicles," which are just words that I never ever EVER need to hear from my male parent.

I have to go erase my brain right now.
