SA, in my experience coughing with no phlegm tends to be bronchitis. I had that a month ago. Got anti-bs from my doc, but he recommended Mucinex for an expectorant. fwiw
Now I'm going to have champagne, just for me! And chocolate mousse cake. mmm...

You know, I talked to her on the phone about an hour ago, and her cough *did* sound kind of bronchitis-y. Hmm.
ION, I have the Umfriend coming over to take me out for ice cream in a little bit. This is weird.

Just make sure you're on the same page, and enjoy.
An update to all House lovers: tonight's episode is AWESOME. Especially Hugh-Laurie-acting-his-ass-off-wise.
Yep. Half way through I am enjoying muchly. Despite encouragement by DH's pool league to join them for Valentine's Day I am sitting here until it is over.
There is an overload of Valentine crud in my house and it all centers around the teens. Bleh. So not in the mood for all the mushy stuff.
Today is the "third day" of the Full Moon bracket.
Full Moon on Valentine's day. What could go wrong?
House needs to visit me and explain the physiology of orgasm again. In whatever voice he wants to use, unless he can imitate Daffy Duck or something, because that's just weird.

You will excuse me if I withhold my excitement. I suppose it's a good thing I'm going to the doc on Thursday.
Goldschlager--the potentially hazardous alcoholic beverage of choice for poor college students! It makes us feel like we have some wealth in the world, y'see, if we actually *drink* the gold. (When I say we, I mean Other People, because that stuff is disgusting and painful to drink. And not in the sort-of fun way, like tequila.)
Damn, I missed House again. At least I got to listen to some great Mozart and Chopin as a replacement.
they hooked into some of the ALS support groups?
Yup. There's a group throught the UW Hospital and they even went on a week long retreat for ALS folks last month in Minnesota. The local support group sounds really good; Tim was impressed that many of the members were people who had lost family to the disease but stayed in the group. I think it will be a very good resource for him and his family.
Em's already way more knowledgeable than I was when I was TWENTY!
Sh--! More like forty, here! I think we've got the modern version of Gypsy Rose Lee brewing in LA.
Thanks, everyone, for the kind thoughts. I'll pass them on to Tim; his family is very religious and I think it will help them to know so many folks are thinking good thoughts for them.
