Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

and google says no, it's just an expression:

Ah. S'what I get for working from memory. Still, evocative, and it's kept me from drinking GoldSchlager.

Librarian Warlord

Aimée, 3 bd/2bath at a reasonable price apartment with a view ~ma to you.

That sounds like a good plan for a date, bt. Maybe I'll suggest to my hubby that we go to the zoo, soon. (although this weekend looks like rain)

Sail, a whole lot of ~ma to your friend, her brother and her family. ALS is an evil diagnosis. I hope they have a lot of support around them.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I had a friend in college who loved that gold flecked liqueur stuff. Ick.

It's a really good expression. If I need to say someone poisoned himself, I'm gonna use it.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, Sail, how tragic. Much ~ma and many prayers headed that way.

Strength and peace to your friends, Sail.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Yeah, I like it. The key point is that it gives us plenty of time to talk (I think there are a few things we need to talk about), but music to listen to and animals to admire means silences won't feel so awkward.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry Sail. May he have a peaceful passing.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Erika! Have you seen this article? [link]

I think you might like it.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sail, my thoughts and prayers are with him.
