Yeah, I like it. The key point is that it gives us plenty of time to talk (I think there are a few things we need to talk about), but music to listen to and animals to admire means silences won't feel so awkward.

Sail, a whole lot of ~ma to your friend, her brother and her family. ALS is an evil diagnosis. I hope they have a lot of support around them.
They have had. Both Tim and his 3rd brother take turns spending the night with the sick brother, while their parents spend the day with him. They've had home nurses and he's now in a hospice, but has asked to be sent home so he can die there. I just feel so very terrible for Tim, having had to watch people in my family die. It's a shame to have to watch someone go like that.
