Wow, you've really mastered the power of positive giving-up.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Gud}}} Tons of ~ma to you. I am so sorry that you are going through this.

{{{Teppy}}} Much ~ma to your dad and to you.

I am back from the doctor's office with two new drugs. Both of which have drowsiness labels on them. I am not hopeful that either of them are going to help with the pain while still allowing me to function.

Since I don't say it enough, I should mention that I have the best support system ever. Between everyone here, Dave (who rubbed my feet and made me tea while I cried for 2 hours this morning), and my mother who drove me to the doctor's office and got the perscriptions for me, I am a very lucky girl.

Coding and Sleeping

My PCP was mortified.

Well yeah, that other doctor sounds awful.

Best wishes for your Dad, Steph. I hope things aren't as scary as they sound.

Thanks for well wishes and advice.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

URGE TO KILL RISING...RISING...

You can psychologically shut that off, you know. Just like asthma.

What a stupid doctor, vw. I am so sorry that you had to go through that. I have had that happen to me at emergency rooms before. They ask you what medicines you are on and when I mentioned my AD, they assumed I was having an anxiety attack rather than an asthma attack.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Gud-- I can only echo everyone's advice. It mnay be hard to believe now, but there is a better life waiting for you. The weight of constantly failing someone's expectations is heavier than you will ever know while you are living under it, and once the painful process of getting free of it is over you WILL feel better.

Compassionately intolerant

Gudanov, I'm so sorry. I'm hoping for the best for you -- whatever that turns out to be.

This...and everything Hec has said.

Much ~ma to Steph's da.

And a big headthwack for vw's dopey doc.

Librarian Warlord

Health ~ma, for Teppy's Dad.

vw, please, please, please write a complaint to that doctor's supervisor. "Unprofessional" was you being too kind -- she's going to damage someone who doesn't have your self-knowledge & PCP. (And I hope she catches whatever the next patient has who she dares to say, "it's all in your head.")

Gud, I hope that everything works out for the best for you, your wife, and the kids.

I'm getting the pig!

The Universe seems to be fucking with some of our wonderful Bitches again and that needs to stop.

Doctors that over-step their bounds need to be whacked with a clue-stick. But I'm glad both vw and sj are home safely.

All kinds of ~ma to you and your dad, Steph.
