wow, KB. It shouldn't amaze me how people derive sick power trips over those in their employ, but it does. Why so people suck so?
vw, are you around today? Want to do lunch? Or tomorrow?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, I wish! I'm in crunch time, though. Paper due today and Final tomorrow. And, I've got to get into work for a few hours in there. I'm sorry!
For the record, Splenda does not take the place of sugar well in coffee. Just in case you were wondering.
In mememe news, I decided to make sugar scrub for gifts for my writing group. I picked up white plastic jars with pretty floral screwtop lids this weekend, and mixed up the scrub this afternoon. It's really simple: sugar to two-thirds fill the container, cold-pressed olive oil to cover. Add 1/2 tsp. each vanilla and orange extracts, and a big pinch of ground dried orange peel. Stir to mix thoroughly, cap, and wrap. It smelled sooo goood. I'ma have to make another jar just for me.
Beverly, I've never used a sugar scrub. How does one use them? Do you just moisten skin, scrub on the scrub, and rinse off? Is it for exfoliation? Can you eat it?

Ooh, I'm afraid I'll have to disagree. I prefer Splenda to sugar, if I have any sweetener in my coffee. In fact, I would prefer to have unsweeteened coffee if I did not have access to Splenda.
I t heart Splenda.
And don't bother telling me that it's all radioactive and stuff, 'cause Willy knows. Willy don't care.
I wonder if the reason I think artificial sweeteners taste like crap is because they're migraine triggers for me. It occurs to me that I've not identified any triggers that I think taste good--either I'm cheating, or my body changes how it feels about the foods in self defense.

Yes, yes, and well, it won't kill you.

Hee. I knew someone would come along and disagree with me :). Oh, well. I'm trying to switch over, 'cause we're going to start South Beach after the holidays. But, I think I may just have to go without, 'cause ewwwww.
Where is everyone? I need my procrastination helpers!
I was out kicking the ass of the universe up one side and down the other. It took a while, as whenever I thought I was done, I remembered something else (like Aimee's friend or C's father or KB's employers or Fox's whole-cloth creation of a war on Christmas), and I would have to aim another kick at the universe's groin.
Hopefully the universe will be off sulking and taking Demorol for the next week or so, and we can all have a peaceful and happy couple weeks.
I use a combination of Saccharin and Aspartame in my hot drinks.
