I think what my daughter's trying to say is: nyah nyah nyah nyah.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Trust my rage

The feds are very, very slow on employment decisions.

That is so good to hear. I did send in my packet a month ago so that supports slowness too.

MG, I'm sorry to hear about your health insurance frustrations. Sitting at the hospital is no way to spend your birthday.

Herding cats for fun

(waves margaritas, a lawn chair, and a fuzzy kitty at MG) Wow, lookit that: three hands!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Oooooh, Katie....you evil temptress you! If I could escape this afternoon, I'd take you up on that, but I have to run around and get blood drawn, pick up K-Bug from softball practice, check on my mom who is having MORE surgery today, and find uniform pieces for CJ.

Oh, oh, we finally heard from my assistant's daughter. She had her surgery (uterine cancer) a week and a half ago and has spent at least a week in ICU. Does not sound very good, but her daughter sounded upbeat, so who knows. We haven't gotten an update since last Thursday.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Katie! I'm Kermit-waving at you! Can you see my house from there?

I'm so excited! A friend of mine has just launched her website and her new cd, and I'm linking it here. She's not a Buffista (though she would be, if she hung out here, at all) so I don't feel right about putting the link in Press. And I never hang out in the music thread, so I feel really odd about streaking through and posting a link there.

But she's a funny, sharp, and snarky lady, who can sing traditional carols or Joplin equally well, and cut her metaphorical teeth on Linda Thompson music.

Main drawback is, there's no ability for credit card or PayPal payments on her site. And no "listen" link.

Anyhoo, if this offends anybody, holler and I'll take down the link.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I have a haircut appointment tomorrow. What should I do? I really like this, but worry I'm too zaftig to pull it off. [link]

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I really like this, but worry I'm too zaftig to pull it off.

That cut would be very flattering to your excellent cheekbones, Empress.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I dunno what zaftig means, Aimee, but I think it would look hot on you.

Thanks guys. Besides, if it looks horrible - it's just hair. It grows back. It looks like a nice, easy, blowdry-pomade-go style.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think that cut would look great on you, Aimee. Your hair is the right texture for it, too.

If I thought my hair were in any way capable of behaving itself, I'd love something like this. But my hair is neither straight enough nor ruly enough to pull it off.
