Now you can luxuriate in a nice jail cell, but if your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty flowered bonnet, I will end you.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I dunno what zaftig means, Aimee, but I think it would look hot on you.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Thanks guys. Besides, if it looks horrible - it's just hair. It grows back. It looks like a nice, easy, blowdry-pomade-go style.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think that cut would look great on you, Aimee. Your hair is the right texture for it, too.

If I thought my hair were in any way capable of behaving itself, I'd love something like this. But my hair is neither straight enough nor ruly enough to pull it off.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

That it does. It's close to my current style, actually. Which may be changing, as I have an appointment at Zip Zap for Saturday. We shall see what she decides to do with my hair.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

This day just keep getting better. Apparently they have "resolved" my exempt/non-exempt status issue. But so far no one has bothered to TELL ME. The one person who mentioned that it had been resolved did not have all the information and is not in my management line.

Stab, stab, stabbity, stab.

Now tagless for your comfort.

How is Owen reacting to his new baby sister?

He's doing OK with it, considering his age. He's developed a stronger than usual separation anxiety with me. Today was the first time he's ever cried at the baby sitter. It's a good thing DH took him inside because he was clingy and screaming when he left. I couldn't have taken that. I'm hoping it gets better when he realizes he's still special and loved. We're working on reinforcing his sense of security and getting back into some semblance of a schedule.

Sounds like they've told everyone BUT you. That is stabby-making.

It takes some time, but our kids both adjusted to preschool (in this case) just fine.

CASH!! {{{{}}}} So glad that things are going well. And at least Owen doesn't want to leave you - Em cried when Joe tried to take her home from daycare yesterday.

Bratty kid. ETA: Mine, not yours. Your is an angel. Are angels.

(That was not meant in one-upmanship - just anecdotal mom-empathy stuff.)

I'm wondering if I should call my manager and ask "is there anything you want to tell me"? But part of me wonders if SHE is even in the loop. I'm not sure who was involved in the resolution, let alone the product of the resolution.

Whatever.

{{{Cash}}} Owen is going to be fine. I have no sage sibling advice - my two are 6 years apart. Well, then I have the two teens now who are 8 months apart and that is a WHOLE new learning experience.
