Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Gud, how are you doing?

I am not having the best of weekends, but I could be doing worse.

I am sorry. I wish there was something magic I could say or wish or do that would bring you joy. Or peace. Or just a good weekend.

Thanks for the good wishes, that brings me some warmth.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

If more will help, Gud, you've got them.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{Gud}}

So, here it is 10:45 on a Sunday night and I'm at work. I've worked about 20 hours this weekend on a project that is due 2/17. I still have a shitload to do on it, but I think/hope I can make the deadline.

Then, around 8 tonight, the owner emails me "edits" for another project that's due 2/14. In the world where edits=complete rewrite=at least 25 hours worth of work.

I feel like I need to curl up and cry.

When the Fairness Fairy comes to straighten out the world? She's got a lot of explaining to do to you, Gud.

Granted the bitch is way the hell late.

Their website seems to imply that this is a good thing? Though I miss my puppycat right now.
