I've got two words that are going to make all the pain go away. Miniature Golf.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"You know *everyone.* Why is that?" Me: "Internet."

Hee. I've had to explain that's how I know really weird random shit before. Not people, though, so much. But yay, go with the drag kings getting around!!

I've had several glasses of wine tonight and I want to call him and offer sex

Don't do it! Don't do it! Be strong!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I've had to explain that's how I know really weird random shit before.

Hee. For some reason, people now just assume that of me. Which reminds me, conversation I had with my brother last night.

Brendan: "It's the perfect combination of cute and dangerous."
Me: "Like the carnivorous hamsters."
Brendan: "...Are there carnivorous hamsters?"
Me: "Ha! No, hamsters are carnivore-free."
Brendan: "But given who I'm asking, you'll agree it was a fair question."
Me: "There are carnivorous ducks, if that helps."

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Trudy, I'm sorry for your losses.

"You know *everyone.* Why is that?" Me: "Internet."

Yeah, I've had to explain how I knew so many people around here before I moved,

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

So I did lots of beading ended up with a watch - and a necklace that I tried to do that was way above my skill level for improvisation. So I took it apart and I am half through one that works with my skill level.

Poor Matt. He is in a hotel at the airport and everything from this week is hitting him hard. All the family dynamics - and what they really are - are crystal clear to him. Though I miss him way more that usual, I think heading to site to do some work for a few days are going to give him the space he needs for perspective.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

All your Tickybox should belong to me. But (rationally) all the Tickybox are belong to Plei. But I got to share the afternoon so I am content. There was Powell's rummaging and gelato and lots of just wandering chatting.

Plei and Paul are now driving home and I am looking desperately for some moisturizer as I spent all damn day outside walking and it forgot to rain. Sun. Burn.

I'm thrilled that you and Portland have started the courtship. An excuse to go back to that fabulous city would make me very happy. When are you looking to move? Am I going to see you in SD again before then?
Best case scenario? March. I'll definitely be living in San Diego for the next month but I have no idea past that. I have a full day tomorrow to maybe start looking for a place. Or maybe we'll just explore the surrounding area.
His reply? "You know *everyone.* Why is that?" Me: "Internet."
snerk I love that answer.
Would it be inappropriate to snuggle back with you in your time of need?
I suspect that with Trudy, there is never an inappropriate time for snuggling. Well, maybe during the service itself...

(Matt and beth) Such a really hard, and emotionally draining, time...
