Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Baby baby baby! Welcome Olivia!

We'll have to get her a Teatro Olivia when she's older.

Coding and Sleeping

Missouri has some great town names. Peculiar, Tightwad, Knob Lick, Licking, Butts, Japan, Cuba, Turtle, Village of Four, and many more.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I knew you'd be the other person thus affected.

Everyone should be thus affected, dammit.

Relatedly, I think I need to take "Sexy MF" off my shuffle, as I have repeatedly and humiliatingly proven myself totally incapable of listening to it while walking down the street without shakin' that ass, shakin' that ass.

What is even happening?

I'm earwormed with "Starfish and Coffee," with slightly altered lyrics
I knew you'd be the other person thus affected.
In my lj, flea just posted:
And now I can only sing, "all of us were ordinary, compared to Olivia Rose."

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Typo Boy/Gar is in Portland.

No, was in Portland. Now in Olympia Washington, and have been for some time. And don't post or lurk as much any more due to Repetive Stress Injury. Cortizone therapy alone did not do it last time, but physical therapy and traction finally kicking in, so may be able to start posting more, instead of occasional drive bys on the John H. Natter diet.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

See? See? See, David? See?

*I* knew where Gar was. And you call yourself a file keeper!

(Okay, so it helps that he moved to a city I lived in for five years or so, but still! My Files and Records fu beat yours!)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm glad to hear that the PT and traction are helping out, Gar.

I am heading to Portland in the morning for five days of "finding a nice neighborhood to move to soon." Any tips?

Because books.

Whoo hoo! Step away from the board for a minute (okay, two hours) and a baby is born! Welcome to the planet, Olivia Rose! Congratulations Cash and DH and Owen!

Get out! Where did you live in Wilmington? We're probably related! (oh, and, AmyLiz, you're the one who is also related to Daniel Boone like I'm supposed to be, right? Maybe we're double-related!)

Um, wow, I don't even know. My parents grew up on Tatnall Street and went to P.S. DuPont High School, but we moved to Newark when I was about a year old. But I know where the Charcoal Pit is! And yeah, I'm the Daniel Boone person, too! Weird. We probably *are* related.
