radical acceptance is where I am trying to go with a lot of things - I just didin't know the name. the money one is of course the big one where I am really bad at the whole Idea. But i have come to the conclusion that worrying does nothing but cause me to stand still. By accepting that this is a hard problem, and not going to be easy - I just sort of pat my self on th eback and remind my self of the palns to move forward , even if I can do it now. Of course, the first two weeks of January will be harder....
Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
whoo-hoo! I was able to look up my grade for my class online, and I got an A! Yay, an A!
GO NORA! That's wonderful! WooHoo is right!
WOO NORA!!
Congratulations Nora!!
Ice cream really is not the best choice of mid-morning treat for a person with a cough. Hot lemonade with honey? That is.
ETA: Yay, Nora!
Congrats, Nora!
Thank you! Also, Ginger and Deena rock mightily. But y'all already knew that, right? (Can't be said enough though)
Congratulations, Nora!
I find blaming Nilly to work often -- and she's totally down with it.
I had that figured and one and a half-assed. I'll never get the math(s).
You're being over-Euclidean.
I think the word "radical" in "radical acceptance" scares me, but the principles themselves don't. They're hard, but I find I have the most problems when a) I feel I do have some control, and accepting will tke the edge of my ability to change reality, and b) it's actual physical pain, with no end date apparent.
Wheeee! Go Nora! (and thank you, but you did all the hard work.)
