Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Hmmm...I don't know if I need ~ma or not.

What started as joking around about me transferring to our Philly office is suddenly taking a serious note. I talked to Joe about it and it's a little more than half tempting.

Hmmm....

OOooooh....Philly is only 2 hours from here on the train, Aimee!!!!!

On the other hand, snow. And no Sean or ND or Kristin or or.....

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Lots and lots of interview~ma for Jilli who has no reason to be nervous because she's JILLI!

Yes I do, because the HR person left voicemail for me this morning asking me to bring in samples of my editing work with the revision marks. I don't have any. My last freelance editing gig specifically said they didn't want rev marks used ('cos they're crazy people, but they were paying me so I went along with it); I don't have any from my past 4 years of work because keeping personal copies of stuff you're working on is Very Bad Form when you are a contractor.

breathes deeply

So I'm going to take the non-rev-mark showing samples I have. But first I'm going to go eat lunch.

Oh, and not only do I have a second round of interviews for this job on Thursday, but next Monday, I have an interview for the other job I applied for. I am going to be a manic bundle of nerves this week.

I hope everyone else has a very good week.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I want to revoke the person in question's license to Powerpoint.

I once went to an excellent presentation on how NOT to use powerpoint. it was hilarious because the person before AND after the presenter did at least one of his Top Five Worst things to do in a powerpoint presentation. Har.

Coding and Sleeping

She explained that she hadn't sent him the slides because she didn't want him to read ahead in the presentation

Heh. That sounds kinda insane.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Today I slept in with Dave and we went out for breakfast, for the second time in a week. I am feeling all sorts of spoiled.

Yay, Erin! I'm glad you had a good date.

Cass, I am glad you had a good day. Take care.

{{{juliana}}} Feel better.

Yay, for Teppy's big boss! Continued health~ma to him.

Interview~ma, Jilli.

She explained that she hadn't sent him the slides because she didn't want him to read ahead in the presentation .

This sounds like grade school rather than the business world.

May things work out for the best ~ma for the Empress.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hah. Just wait 'til you spend a little more time in the business world. Oh, you'll learn.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Is this the Other Irish Guy?

This was Third Irish Guy, and the most annoying one to boot (okay, First Irish Guy didn't call, but at least he was polite to the servers and didn't try to stick his tongue down my throat until I gave him the go-ahead). However, I've been texting with Pretty Tattooed Boy for the past few days, so it's all good.

I think I will try to avoid that if at all possible.

I know. That would suck muchly. OTOH, it'd be close enough to family that driving there wouldn't be a problem, but unexpected drop-ins wouldn't happen.
