Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

GRONK.

The boy woke up at 5 a.m. for some weird reason. Thank goodness the sitter will be here in an hour. I can take a nap then.

I'll second Cash's GRONK. Couldn't sleep worth a darn, and getting up/dressed/to work was a bitch, yet here I am with clothes on.

K-bug gets her wisdom teeth pulled this afternoon. Even though DH is available to be there for her, she wants MOMMY.

C spent too much of last night text messaging with her drunk father. Yes, he took the news that she didn't want to live with him because he drinks so well, that he decided to prove her point for her. Still does not make it easier.

CJ is bored to tears. I think we will give back a couple of toys, imagination play type stuff, just so we can maintain OUR sanity.

Hey Trudes, that new year you ordered for me must be on slow boat delivery...

Cash, I'm glad you're doing OK!

I should be doing some of that work like stuff right now. Hmmmm. Task no. 1: find motivation.

I am at work. I get points for that, right?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Lots of points. More points, even, than I get for being in class (which is looking inceasingly like it wil also be the case tomorrow. Grrr...Argh)

I did not think my wardrobe through very clearly. I must need more coffee. I brought a red sweater to wear with a purple top. Someone shoot me.

As Woody Allen said, "90% of life is just showing up."

Our wings are not tired.

More points than I get. After I got home from car pool I sat down and haven't moved off the couch. 9:30 now. I think I should shower now and get to work. I'll think about it a bit more. They will have coffee at the office. That would be nice.

Showing up may be all I do today. I'm going to try to be invisible so I can work on my paper that is due tomorrow.

Since 5am I've been defining the concepts that made the cut. I'm almost done with that step. I suspect a few more will make the cut as I'm writing the other parts (ones I find that I don't have anything to say about), but as of right now there are 31 of them. I cut! I really did! I also added.

I suck at doing things like this half-assed.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I suck at doing things like this half-assed.

Aha! Maybe we have a definition problem. Your mission, which you totally have to accept so don't even ask, is to write about 20 or so concepts.

That's not half-assed. It's the assignment.

Writing about 31? That'd be half-assed.
