You know what the chain of command is? It's the chain I go get and beat you with until you understand who's in ruttin' command here.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Speaking of comics--the BF's uncle has a (old) new series out. Check it out! [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm guessing your BF's related to some guy named Kubert...

Uh, none of my family write comics (it is to laugh just to think of it), but a friend's doing the new Blue Beetle, and an old pal is doing Teen Titans Go.

I have no idea how I ended up with geek friends, honestly.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

:::Wishing Beth's MIL and family good health:::

My life alone is too great to have to 'work' hard with someone new.

That is a FABULOUS thing to be able to say about one's life, Beej. Really great!

I don't think it was bad to Google the guy. I mean, it's a good way to weed out any dangerous stuff, but if it's just that his sense of humor isn't showing on the web, don't sweat it. I'm sure not everyone gets my sense of humor over the web,either... Have a good date!

Spider-Man gets a new costume

I see Tony Stark's been hitting the sauce again.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

5 pm shoe post!

These are on sale until tomorrow, and will fill a niche in my shoe collection that is currently unfilled. I'm not 100% sold on the little ring design on the top, but it might look better on. And Zappos has a good return policy, right?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

{{{Beth and family}}}

Jessica, Zappos has a very good return policy.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

((beth and family))

Some people have a facet of themselves on the web. Some people have none, some people have all. He may have other online facets you didn't find.
What people could find out about me online doesn't really match up to who I really am. Even here? If you just lurk and only read my posts, it's still not me. What you could find Googling me is much, much less.

Have fun on the date, Beej.

JZ - Jan 26, 2006 12:50:55 pm PST #6362 of 10001
See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

{{{beth and Matt and his mom and all her family}}}

Also, date-ma to Beej (when you said he was a Whedon fan and someone else said that maybe he just has a very low-key, dry sense of humor, I immediately thought, Omigod, she has a date with Oz!) and lots of eyerolling in the direction of brenda's craxy boss and Katie Bee's asshat bossmonster.

I keep having little blippy moments of cerebral weirdness that aren't quite headaches, just brief pulses of extreme lightheadedness or stunnedness (vaguely like a very mild electric shock, only not -- not painful at all, just...uh, weird), and am divided between worrying that I have a brain tumor and worrying that I'm a mad hypochondriac who worries about nothing. It's getting irksome. Really, I like my head much better when it's not doing anything to attract my attention.

Lastly, I am utterly ass-ignorant as to that particular artist, but even with the ignorant pulsy brain I can tell that the new Spider-Man costume is sucktastic. And what's with the ass-talon and the rubber ankle?

All is well that ends in pizza.

And his finger looks like it's coming from his crotch if you aren't looking closely.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

but a friend's doing the new Blue Beetle

And I added it to my pulls just because of that.

Tell him it better not suck.
