Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Don't leave crowbars and cement blocks and shovels and other stuff that can be used to break in your house, accessible in your yard.

gulp.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

sj, go to the market so you don't break your promise.

Thanks. Shower first, then the market. I can be very unreliable at times, but I try very hard never to be that way with Dave.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Don't leave crowbars and cement blocks and shovels and other stuff that can be used to break in your house, accessible in your yard.

They're always going smashy smashy with the homeowner's stuff conveniently located.

I mean, my intent is not to scold, or anything, these are just the Important Lessons I have learned from the Hottie McHotterson and The Ex-Thief That (Not-So) Secretly Loves Him show. (actually, the thieves are probably not that Hott, exactly, but they're wonderfully scruffy and sketchy which is sexy to me somehow)

Come for the snark, stay for the home safety PSA!

If I only had a brain...

Has absolutely nothing to do with Firefly, but:

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Not sure what it has to do with vampires either, but it's lurvely.

Art Crawl!!!

I think it's obviously something that Zoe would wear and look devastating in.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Don't buy a Honda no matter how old it is.

I like my Honda! It has treated me well. I may occasionally wish for a six cylinder, but other that than I am well pleased.

Betsy, that is a gorgeous coat.

Does anyone know if David (novachild) has been in or around the board at all? I gave up the ghost and left xela for antigua, and if he was still here I wanted to hook up with him.

Talk about random--meeting another buffista in guatemala, of all places.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

According to the auctioneer:

Firefly and Serenity fans like this coat. I guess it has enough of that futuristic post nuclear western look.

It doesn't look Western to me at all, even futuristic post nuclear, but it's still utterly gorgeous. Possibly the auctioneer should amend her/his statement to:

Firefly and Serenity fans like this coat. I guess they have eyes, brains, and excellent taste in frockcoats.

Mostly lurking...

Hec would be pleased. I just made an appointment with the fancy schmancy salon for a cut and color. Now I just need to decide what I want to do!

Thank goodness my books were $150 under budget! ;)
