And as much as I would like to tell Gud to eat- I think that is like telling my DH to eat. DH never believes me when I say eating more often is easier on digestion, prevents overeating, increases your metabolic rate, and makes dealing with day to day stress easier. Note that I do not say how often anyone should eat. Some people do well with twice a day. Some of us do better with 5 or 6 times a day. But once a day - means once in 24 hous. that's not very usual for mamals.

Gud, I'm with all the other Jewish mothers in believing you'll be better off having pbj and an apple or carrot sticks or something in you, come mid-day. You wouldn't expect the kids to skip lunch, don't expect it of yourself, either.

I just get such a cackle out of the one who sits with the family during the "robbery." He's going, "Oh, gee. Looks like he's just trashing all your precious belongings. How do you feeeeeeel?"

And the guy who does the "robbery," afterward? Acting all scared to meet the people? And going, hey, you agreed to this, remember? Can't touch me!

Gud, you should neither deny yourself food nor beat yourself up because of the financial situation. I haven't been able to read regularly lately, so this might have been addressed, but you do know that you're allowed to be angry at your wife for letting the bills go unpaid (even if she's having depression issues)? That anger, frustration, etc., would all be absolutely valid emotional responses? That manifesting these emotional responses in the denial of food for yourself isn't healthy?

I watched one Episode of "to catch a thief" because Tivo taped it. Very bizzare- I wasn't sure how serious I was supposed to take it. I mean all sequrity systems have holes. and definatley most home systems. The only idea behind what I have is to slow them down and I am working on suff that makes noise.
