Empress, I find something very meta in baby issues trumping being able to go to the funeral. It's all family.
The Circle...The Circle of Life...
Ya wouldn't know I went to
The Lion King
this month would you?
And Aimee, let me second (probably closer to tenth) everyone else. Your great-grandmother was more blessed to have your presence in her Life. Hope you're feeling much (physically & emotionally) better very soon.
I forgot - I am posting because I finished redoing my resume. So I can apply for a job I don't want. But that was the easy part. Because after really thinking about it, The biggest reason I don't want this job is because I don't trust the upper management to deal honestly with me. That really means i should be looking. So a redone resumee means I can.
Onto the suplemental questionaire.
THanks for all your love support, My Bitches.
I'ma go find a Coke and a quiche.
A lot of the security stuff is common sense, like, hello! lock your doors and windows! If you're a jewelry dealer, don't leave diamonds and expensive watches in suitcases. Don't assume your dog will scare off intruders. Don't leave your car keys in the car. Don't leave crowbars and cement blocks and shovels and other stuff that can be used to break in your house, accessible in your yard.
And then don't be shocked when an actor doing what you agreed to let him do, breaks in and makes a mess of your stuff and figures out your secret hiding place under the bed.
I think it is to wake people up that there are theives who make their living exploiting the giant vulnerabilities in one's home security.
I really want a charlie bar for my back slider, and window sensor alarms for the first floor windows and a couple second floor windows. Would probably cost a couple hundered bucks, and it would make my house an more unattractive target.
Quiche and Coke acheived!! Yay!

Don't buy a Honda no matter how old it is.
Signed,
Still bitter
I finally got window blocks for all my windows - and I have extra in case I drop one in a hard to reach place. All my windows are sliders - and they have locks. But in the summer they are open - now I can open them - but only so far so air can get in , but not people.
And question one is done. onto question two - which is easier because it is a tech what do you know about a, b, or c. and for half the machines and systems the answer is: Nothing.

It's too late for me. I think my car is a clone of your Honda.
Please don't feel guilty about missing the funeral Aimee. Like everybody else said, it's the time during life that counts.
