Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Speaking of working on our resumes...

Willow: That's a work ethic! Buffy, you're developing a work ethic!
Buffy: Do they make an ointment for that?

A GAY cowboy, now that would work.

Maybe they should have made it the BK network, and got the Gay Cowboy Fetish commercials to go in on it.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

So - this job I don't want is dependent on the resumee I can't get to. Went abd got keyboard adapters - still not right. Called DH to bitch. which is fine, but 2 minutes into the conversation- he mentions he is in a meeting. Really, I could have bitched to his voice mail. I do not want to be working on this all Thursday night.

Hey. New board.

I want to make my own veggie burgers. Anybody got a recipe they like?

I'm looking for something in a mushroom-heavy style.

Librarian Warlord

My supervisor just told me about something I'm expected to finish by the end of the week that she knew about in December. Is there an ointment for that? (I told her "not possible, maybe by the end of next week." Fortunately, she volunteered to tell the Big Boss it was her fault.)

MG, you are absolutely cut out for the guardianship thing. You're living proof for C that she can make different choices than her parents, and be a cool, wonderful, warm, giving and dependable person.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Gronk. First class was so boring. I am hope briefly to eat, and then back for my second class.

What is even happening?

I was going to suggest a little arsenic on some powder sugared doughnuts, but then I read the next bit:

(I told her "not possible, maybe by the end of next week." Fortunately, she volunteered to tell the Big Boss it was her fault.)

And so, I can't.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Someone needs to tell my boss not to instruct people to ship materials to my name at the conference I'm not attending (but he is).
