Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Aimee, I'm so very sorry.

Daniel, good news!

So, it appears that the professors of my first two classes got together and made their schedules. Every. Single. Test. is on the same day.

mini-meara

Wow, big change. What's attracting you to Portland? (But who will I stay with when I visit SD??)

Hey, BT! Standing right here! … Five days behind in reading messages … Almost never catching up enough to post … but still, we’ve met! … when I was living alone in a two-bedroom condo, not renting a room in someone else’s three-bedroom … still. I would totally clear a couch for you!

Cass, I will be sorry to see you leave. Even though we never seem to manage to hook up, I liked the idea of another Buffista being Right Here. We’ll have to get together for that ice cream I promised you, or a drink (alcoholic floats?) or a meal or something before you leave. K?

Happiest Slightly Belated Birthday to WindSparrow!

MG, new hair = HOTT

{{{Aimee}}} So sorry for your loss.

DCJ, this whole sitch is lame, but I’m glad you’ll have a little something to help you through to the other side.

((vw)) ouch. Good luck with that.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

So, closet update. I still can not really afford to have ALL my clothes clean. There is not quite enough room. But since when is it a good idea to have all the laundry done anyway? I should always save some in case of a day when I don't want to do anything.

ION, twiced baked potatoes are really good. And if I make them properly - half a potato ( which is all I should eat anyway ) is enough. ham, spinach, cheese ... yum.

and my old computer has no cables attached to it. and it will be easier with two people. So DH can try without me, or he can wait until I get home.

Good plan, beth. My own closet situation requires that clean clothes folded on top of the dryer is a legitimate storage facility until the following week, when I move those back to the closets and re-start the cycle with the new dirty clothes.

On the first day of school? Lame.

Be sure to reward yourself with hot chocolate (or cold, you make the call) for being such a diligent go getter!

GNAHHHHH!

I just drove for six hours through a ton of really icky fog. I'm in Bumblefuck, West Virginia, now.

Or maybe that's spelled "Bluefield". Whatever.

What's worse is that tomorrow, I work for several hours, and then have to drive BACK. BLEAH.

And I forgot my toiletry kit. It's sitting at home. Doh. I can ask the hotel for a toothbrush (it'll be a weird disposable one). But still. Annoying.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

My condolences, Aimée.

Daniel, I'm very glad to hear that at least the Unemployment folk were sane.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yeah, I would like that. Rum floats! (I don't drink rum usually but it seems the ideal float booze.)

And yeesh, I hate forgetting my toothbrush. It's why I have one stashed at my parent's, a few friends, in my travel bag, in my car ... just to be sure.
