Do you know what else has blood in it? Blood.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

My condolences, Aimée.

Daniel, I'm very glad to hear that at least the Unemployment folk were sane.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

We’ll have to get together for that ice cream I promised you, or a drink (alcoholic floats?) or a meal or something before you leave. K?
Yeah, I would like that. Rum floats! (I don't drink rum usually but it seems the ideal float booze.)

And yeesh, I hate forgetting my toothbrush. It's why I have one stashed at my parent's, a few friends, in my travel bag, in my car ... just to be sure.

Normally I'm all with it, what with all the travelling. Have my little bag of toiletries, all duplicating what I normally use at home, in smaller jars and bottles.

Today, though, because I wasn't flying anywhere, just driving, and only staying one day? I was really half-assed about everything. Grr. Argh.

There were people I was going to say "I HUG YOU!" to, but now I don't remember specifics. So I hug you ALL! (I typed that "I *huge* you all", which probably isn't somethign most of you would enjoy...)

Oh, even with all of my dental precautions? I am caught without a toothbrush or facial cleanser or deodorant more often than I would care to admit.

Daniel - good news!

Meara - I hate not having MY stuff when it comes to toiletries. I was just realizing that with K-Bug and I driving out to Phoenix for Spring Training this year, I can LOAD the car up with all kinds of stuff. I'll probably start packing the car a week before we leave.

Oh, and toward that end, K-Bug did her first bit of freeway driving yesterday. It was just on, merge, and then off, but she did get it up to 60 and did REALLY well. Now we just have to expand on that so she is ready for the marathon drive to Phoenix.

Oh, definitely. I'm big with the list-making, yet always manage to forget to list something or think that item xyz is in the other bag, etc.

By which I mean to say, meara, I huge you too (in sympathy).

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Sigh. Why can't all provinces have vital stats searches as quick and easy as BC's?

Also, why doesn't my freaking father know the names of his grandparents? And why we gotta have such a common McLastname?

Signed, Aimee's loss got me curious about the Mysterious Great-Grandparents about whom I know nothing, except that they were on Prince Edward Island around 1910/11 when Grandfather McLastname was born.

Sheesh. I had an easier time tracking down the for real origins of the great-grandparent who took his stepfather's name as a child.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

{{{{{Aimee}}}}}} fierce, German love is good love.

meara, I hope you manage to get some rest.

Epic, thank you for the birthday wishes. I had to work yesterday, so today is when I really got to enjoy them.

I am doing either San Diego to Portland (or Joshua Tree to Portland) with my mom next week. I've been driving for 18 years and I don't think I am ready for the trip... Yay K-Bug freeway driving though!
