'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm kind of torn on the blood and guts, Laura. Sometimes the guts'eye views really help and other times they're like "Oh, God, TMI."

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Gronklies.

I slept until 12 today, then fell asleep again from about 5 to 7. No clue what's up, but really just feeling ugh.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I just don't understand my friends, or my family. For more issues than I'd really care to re-hash, things keep taking a twisty turn, not necessarily for the bad, but it's all the point where I just want to hand-wave it and say "Whatever." This is tiring.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Sorry to hear that, SA. Lo siento mucho.

Yeah, yo tambien.

Still, life doesn't suck. At least not as much as it potentially could.

Weird, it works for me, and is not friendslocked.

Which is kinda funny.

ETA; I agree.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

You will be in my thoughts.
Thank you Laura. I have really leaned on the friendship and shoulders that Buffistas have freely given during this time and it has been such a comfort to me. My appreciation just doesn't have words.

It was a beautiful memorial today. So many people from so many parts of all of our lives.

I even got over my "worlds colliding" issues and once I had spoken about grandma (only forgetting maybe half of what I meant to say), I sat on the ground and just collapsed before a love seat with my head laying on some knees belonging to Erin, 3.0 and Stef. At least one of them was patting my hair and I just slumped and cried quietly for a while. Pamela was just behind me and has been the lovliest person tonight.

The story I told about grandma was about a night I made her shrimp scampi and she beat a bottle of wine into submission. So tonight I made shrimp scampi again. For her. And for me.

I think I need a hot bath. And either a long crying session or to just get over all of this.
