You will be in my thoughts.
Thank you Laura. I have really leaned on the friendship and shoulders that Buffistas have freely given during this time and it has been such a comfort to me. My appreciation just doesn't have words.

It was a beautiful memorial today. So many people from so many parts of all of our lives.

I even got over my "worlds colliding" issues and once I had spoken about grandma (only forgetting maybe half of what I meant to say), I sat on the ground and just collapsed before a love seat with my head laying on some knees belonging to Erin, 3.0 and Stef. At least one of them was patting my hair and I just slumped and cried quietly for a while. Pamela was just behind me and has been the lovliest person tonight.

The story I told about grandma was about a night I made her shrimp scampi and she beat a bottle of wine into submission. So tonight I made shrimp scampi again. For her. And for me.

I think I need a hot bath. And either a long crying session or to just get over all of this.

Ah, bless you Cass. What a painfully beautiful day. I love the scampi idea. Transition objects are so, so important.

Weirdly enough, my best friend Liz, who died on Pan Am 103 was a stage manager who always wanted me to sing Suddenly Seymour from Little Shop of Horrors. It's ridiculous how that song comforts me in times of trouble.

How fantastic that you had good people around you today. A womb-like bath is a great idea.

Many virtual-stranger-generated hugs.

Thanks Aim. I am collapsing into tears a lot but I am also feeling more loved than I ought or even deserve.

Today was lovely actually. It hurts that she is gone but I also know she had a wonderful life and didn't suffer for long.

I have a bath half drawn and am planning on drowning a few of my sorrows in fragrant hot water, candlelight and songs on my iPod.

What a painfully beautiful day.
This describes it beautifully. Bless.

Being surrounded by so many people who care for me in so many different ways was really more than I could have asked for today.

There was the oddness of introducing my ex to so many of my family and friends well after we were over as a couple. I mean, they'd never met him before -because I am private and freakish like that - and now I was introducing he and his wife... There has to be something odd about that.

A hot bath and a glass of wine are calling my name soon. After I finish watching Sneakers.

Mine got here today. I adore this movie. Beyond reason. It just makes me happy.
