[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

vw, you will not hurt any of the concepts feelings, if you leave them out. I promise.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I don't know, Cindy. I hang out with several of the concepts surrounding balance, and they don't say anything, but you just look at them sometimes, when people ignore them, and they just get this look, and kinda sigh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Debet, you're not responsible for the concept's feelings -- you have to remember that. They're their own entities. You just need to be fair to yourself -- it's not like the concepts are looking after you.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Send them to Concept Thunderdome! Two concepts enter, one concept leaves!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

You know, though? Those concepts really need to learn to speak up for themselves. Find your voice, concepts! Don't be a conceptual doormat forever!

DebetEsse - Dec 19, 2005 5:57:57 am PST #548 of 10001
Woe to the fucking wicked.

But what about the concept of doormat-ery? Surely you can't expect it to behave otherwise!

eta: ita, I know. I just prefer to hang out with them. Most of the other concepts get rather tiresome after a while. And when you hang out with them enough, you start feeling for them when they're hurt.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Can't you just leave 15 out?

I suppose. But, somehow, because this is me, and I'm weird, that just feels wrong.

t points to vw's tagline

Hey. New board.

Huh, that exam was easier than I was expecting. I guess I should do dishes or clean my room or something now.

What is even happening?

All right, maaaaaaaaybe the concepts' feelings might get a little tender, but they will not hold it against you, vw. Concepts are cool like that...except vengeance. Vengeance is a nasty little bugger (but totally hawt!!!).

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

vw, start writing, but put in an email or phone call or whatever to contact the prof and ask him if he prefers you to give short shift to your long list by culling the (extra) 15, or short shift to the formula he has given by covering your whole 35 with more brevity.

Why he would want to read a classful of 20 page papers I can't imagine.
