Lisah, one of the best gifts I ever received was when the people in my church signed up and brought dinner every night for a week. Do you think the people who come to the party could do that? Though maybe two weeks would be better with twins.
As for what they need, a double stroller narrow enough to get through store doors would be top of my list. The wide ones look cool, but I've heard complaints about getting around with them.
Ever pour a bunch of salsa from a jar you have not closely examined onto a snack, then think, "I hope this isn't Hot," then see that it is, indeed, Hot? I did. Just now.
But hey, I can breathe better now.
Aimee, hope you get over this quickly.
I think post-partum makeovers should be a routine part of childbearing and covered by insurance. Drat it.
ha ha. So true. The real problem is that the post-partum figure is totally different from the pre-partum one. (And my figure now is different than it was after Frances, too.) I'd say 2/3 to 3/4 of my old clothes don't fit right, but I'm still wearing them.
Burrell, that's my issue, too. I fit into a lot of my pre-Emeline clothes, but they don't fit as well on this body as they did my other one.
And short of actually exercising and eating better, they aren't going to.
Don't push the
red button
Whee! Lightning storm over the city! I have a good view from my desk. Until I leave to go home in a few minutes. I may not enjoy it then.
...Another one! Wheee!!
And short of actually exercising and eating better, they aren't going to.
sigh. I even like my current figure, I just wish my old clothes fit better because I can't afford to replace them all.
I'll third that sentiment.

Yep. And yup to the can't afford to replace 'em--and my bod won't be done changing until I'm no longer nursing, so I can't justify buying things that I'd only wear for a short time unless they have access slits.
