And I wonder, what possible catastrophe came crashing down from heaven and brought this dashing stranger to tears?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

Oh, I'm glad

1. Disconnect your device as soon as you realize that the liquid is inside it. Normally it just stops working but you might get electric shocks or it might explode or it might break if you leave it connected.
Didn't happen. I wondered about it.

Thanks, ita.

Hey. New board.

Giles is in this trailer! At the end, just for a second, apparently he plays the father of the main girl character.

Movie looks possibly interesting or possibly bad, but full of British accents at least. Always a plus.

Hugs everyone here. Buffistas are love

and advice about love, and sex, and...:)

Those stockings look cool. But barely thigh high. They are cheaters.

That's exactly what I thought! But they do look cool.

An exorcism is need. But without the pea soup.

Hah! That's awesome.

Have I mentioned that phone interviews always make me super-nervous? They do.

That's because phone interviews are SCARY

Gris, I just saw that movie (in a screener/preview thing) last night! It was pretty good, though ASH plays a fairly out-of-it character, he does have a few Gilesy moments.

The status is NOT quo.

Argh. My internet appears to be down. Treos are for traveling, not for home-posting! The keyboard is all small, and my thumbs are all achy! t /world's tightest Buffista-shaped diamond shoes

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

This just in: College students lack skills. [link]

How will they get girlfriends? Girls only want boyfriends with great skills!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

All the time I was doing this Sammi had this incredulous cat look on her face.
You have The Thumbs, you are god.
The really sad thing is that those amounts wouldn't buy a shack in Seattle.
Or here. The houses are shockingly reasonable and cheap and ohmigod I could buy one.
Girls only want boyfriends with great skills!
We like skillz. Just not exactly, or only, those skills.

Pamela and I had a lovely day. I am content and picking her brain about Portland. Tis wonderful.

Punishingly Intricate

In DC, the median price for a one-bedroom condo is $279K. sigh.

oi! that's why so many DC people are moving to baltimore. Despite the commute. And the fact that housing prices here have gone way up in the last few years. House on my street that just went on the market:

I just sent out invitations to the baby shower I'm throwing for my best friend and her husband. I've had parties before. Kind of a lot of them. But I'm so nervous about this one! And it's just going to be a potluck, brunchy kind of thing. Pretty casual affair. I think I'm reacting to the how nervous they are at this whole baby project! They are trying to register for stuff now and it's making my friend a little crazy. Who knows what, of the endless variety of baby gear out there, you will really need. Plus they are having twins so they need 2 of a lot of that stuff. And then there's the whole having to be parents thing. eek!

I guess I just really want the party to help them feel a little more comfortable with everything--that they will have at least some of the stuff they will need and, more importantly, that they have a circle of friends who will be there to support them.
