Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

so that I wouldn't have to come home to chaos.

Ugh. That would be nice. I'm so sorry this has been such a pain in the ass.

I am sleepy this morning. I didn't want to get up. I think shopping did me in yesterday...

ION, though, I had a dream that I bought a plasma TV. With Emily's money. She was not happy...even though I got a great deal. Goofy dream.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am so sleepy I am nauseous. I hate that! And my iPod insisted on playing me things like Tom Waits and PF's Dogs of War. More sleepy. I should have put on a playlist but I was too bundled up and sleepy to make any musical decisions.

All is well that ends in pizza.

haven't asked Daniel, but I'd guess either bachelor-like he has no thermometer or thrifty-like he has a glass mercury thermometer of the sort that I can only read on the third tuesday of months in which both Venus and Mercury are retrograde during a new moon at low tide, and I have new glasses.

That broke. I planned to get digital one at Big Lots so many times....

Timelies!

I am nervous as heck. Today is the day the lawyer and social worker come to my house to talk with C and me about guardianship and we start the paperwork process.

With any luck, in two plus months I could be the proud legal guardian of a bouncing, non-so-baby, girl.

{{{Maidengurl}}} Much ~ma to you today. I hope it all goes smoothly. You are such an amazing person for taking C into your home and your heart.

I didn't see this posted here earlier. RIP John Spencer I was never really a big fan of the West Wing, but when I did watch it, he was one of the main reasons.

What is even happening?

With any luck, in two plus months I could be the proud legal guardian of a bouncing, non-so-baby, girl.

Hopefully, this is a pain free C-section.

(I'm sorry. I'm really tired and goofier than usual).

Well, shit.

Our final "paper" for Advanced Composition is due on Wednesday. It's supposed to be a memoir, of sorts, of all of the "concepts" we learned this semester. He gave us a formula to use to write about each concept, and each is supposed to be about a page. I just made a list of my "most important concepts I learned." There are 35 of them. There is NO WAY I am writing a 35-page paper. Ugh. For one thing, there just isn't time.
