Mal: Yeah, well, just be careful. We cheated Badger out of good money to buy that frippery, and you're supposed to make me look respectable. Kaylee: Yes, sir, Captain Tightpants.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Timelies!

I am nervous as heck. Today is the day the lawyer and social worker come to my house to talk with C and me about guardianship and we start the paperwork process.

With any luck, in two plus months I could be the proud legal guardian of a bouncing, non-so-baby, girl.

{{{Maidengurl}}} Much ~ma to you today. I hope it all goes smoothly. You are such an amazing person for taking C into your home and your heart.

I didn't see this posted here earlier. RIP John Spencer I was never really a big fan of the West Wing, but when I did watch it, he was one of the main reasons.

What is even happening?

With any luck, in two plus months I could be the proud legal guardian of a bouncing, non-so-baby, girl.

Hopefully, this is a pain free C-section.

(I'm sorry. I'm really tired and goofier than usual).

Well, shit.

Our final "paper" for Advanced Composition is due on Wednesday. It's supposed to be a memoir, of sorts, of all of the "concepts" we learned this semester. He gave us a formula to use to write about each concept, and each is supposed to be about a page. I just made a list of my "most important concepts I learned." There are 35 of them. There is NO WAY I am writing a 35-page paper. Ugh. For one thing, there just isn't time.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Vibing for both you and C. She's an amazing kid, for having enough awareness and instinct for self-preservation to know what kind of home she needs to feel safe and thrive in and actively pursue it, and you've been amazing in your response to her.

If there's any -ma left over, use it for you and CJ.

Has Aimée checked back in with any more news about B and her husband. I stupidly forgot to mention it in-thread, but they've been in my thoughts.

Blurgh. So tired. And I really need to haul my ass into gear and get to work, like, now, since I'm taking tomorrow off to hang out with Emmett. I'm dreading the miserable load of typing that awaits me today and Wednesday.

eta: eek, vw! Can you cull a top 10 from your list of 35?

vw, this week is less craxy, indeed. Maybe we can have lunch!

I think that you need fewer important concepts. Pick 5!

Thrive to spite them

MG I hope everything goes well with the visit!

VW- can you make a list of the top 5 very most important concepts and go from there.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Maybe one of the concepts can be that a concept can include many sub-concepts.
