Slay-er? Chosen One. She who hangs out a lot in cemeteries? You're kidding. Ask around. Look it up: Slayer comma The.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Phhhhhhhhbbbbbllllllttttttttt!

Yeah, not a shark noise. Not scary.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Best of luck with this Cass.

What she said. It sounds like a new start is a good thing.

I wonder how long a drive it is to Portland from here...

SiL dropped the bombshell that Brit was being shipped off to boarding school in Vermont the next morning.

You so need to get that kid an acoustic guitar.

The status is NOT quo.

Hee. I would treat it with restraint and understanding. I convey my understanding by humming the theme from Jaws.

Billytea is very wrong and very funny.

Cass, kudoes to you. I'm so glad that you're making this positive change for yourself. I know firsthand how terrifying a major move like that is, but I believe you are making the right decision. That said, I also hope that you eventually move back down to San Diego! I love having you so close. t /is selfish

In meme news, I have completed all but THREE of my narratives. That's right, folks, 59 of 62 done. The next time I post here, it will be to crow in triumph and then collapse into a brainless heap.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It sounds like a new start is a good thing.
Thank you. I think it really will be the best thing right now.

A leeetle farther than to here but with less potential traffic issues. However, Ashland OR is about five for each of us... Not just a halfway point but also one of my favorite places anywhere. My uncle lives about five miles from there and he's not only fabulous and wonderful but also gracious to guests being all priestly and such.

I would treat it with restraint and understanding. I convey my understanding by humming the theme from Jaws.
And your ... um ... restraint?

Oooh

My uncle lives about five miles from there and he's not only fabulous and wonderful but also gracious to guests being all priestly and such.

Does that mean I can bring my cassock with me?

Sure. Did you want to play dress up? Now I need to Google Ashland to show you how amazing it is there.
You so need to get that kid an acoustic guitar.
Screw that. I'm hoping she gets a girlfriend. She's not gay but everyone experiments at school, right? And her parents would have meltdowns. Big ones.

Yay! You will deserve the collapse and sleep that follows.
I'm so glad that you're making this positive change for yourself.
Thank you. I did the big scary blind move once before -- to Tempe when I was college-aged and it was the best decision I could have made -- but this seems a little scarier what with the life experience and time that has gone by already. I think it is for the best though.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

And your ... um ... restraint?

Oh, I keep that in the basement.

Restrained, I assume.
