Oh, Pacey! You blind idiot. Can't you see she doesn't love you?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Because I'm a bad, bad man who has Photoshop, and the idea made Andi laugh:

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Shark fear?

Silly desert girl.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

But I have thought about it for a while and Portland really has a lot of the things I am looking for in a place to live for a while. I also (such the geek) did loads of those "find the best place for you to live" web things and Portland was at the top of all of them.

Best of luck with this Cass.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Best of luck with this Cass.
Thank you.

I think I made my reasoning seem like too little before because it scares me, I really need a fresh start.

I put a lot of thought into it before I decided that leaving for a new city was the best choice. I have been here for over a decade and my immediate family isn't neccesarily in town but they are all close by.

But there has just been too much here that I need to move on from and there just isn't enough to keep me in San Diego once I leave this house.

My final straw was the day before my grandma passed away. My SiL and neicelet came to visit and the ever-timely SiL dropped the bombshell that Brit was being shipped off to boarding school in Vermont the next morning. Without her around, one less reason I need to be here.

It's something I have been thinking about a lot. I thought I was ready to move up to the area I was working when I was laid off my job. I was literally making plans to sign papers for a new place when I got the news.

It made me reevaluate and once I really thought about it and was honest, I need to leave. For at least a while.

Shark fear?
Phhhhhhhhbbbbbllllllttttttttt!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

But no making fun of my shark fear when eating at oceanfront (or bayfront, it's still large water) restaurants.

Hee. I would treat it with restraint and understanding. I convey my understanding by humming the theme from Jaws.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Best of luck with this Cass.

What she said. It sounds like a new start is a good thing.

I wonder how long a drive it is to Portland from here...

You so need to get that kid an acoustic guitar.

The status is NOT quo.

Billytea is very wrong and very funny.

Cass, kudoes to you. I'm so glad that you're making this positive change for yourself. I know firsthand how terrifying a major move like that is, but I believe you are making the right decision. That said, I also hope that you eventually move back down to San Diego! I love having you so close. t /is selfish

In meme news, I have completed all but THREE of my narratives. That's right, folks, 59 of 62 done. The next time I post here, it will be to crow in triumph and then collapse into a brainless heap.
