She was cleared cancer-free on her 18-month checkup in maybe October. Which is just fabulous news that still makes me smile and cry a little when I think about it.

That is so wonderful. Best wishes in dealing with your grandmother's memorial service. I am glad that you will have good friends there to support you.

Yeah, I'm doing ok. It was all rather banal, really. That's rather sad-making. But I took the rest of the day off, and I'm finding that puttering around the house and doing some cleaning helps.

Must clean house. Again. It feels like mom just left and Pamela will be here tomorrow. Convienently, Pamela is the lowest stress houseguest in the history of guests. So long as I make sure the bed in the guest room is hers, she's happy. Which just means I can't doublebook unless they are someone who sleeps with me or sleeps on the sofa. How easy is that?

She's lovely. The arrangement was wonderful.
