It has come to my attention that the Eliza Dushku URL may redirect somewhere else, I think to prevent hotlinking.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It was all rather banal, really. That's rather sad-making.After all of the stress and such, that last signing was just the strangest thing. I think it was more work getting our check for lunch actually. A couple places to sign and suddenly you just aren't married any longer. Or, in California, a couple of places to sign and suddenly six months later you aren't married any longer.
I'm doing pretty well. Once the my grandma's memorial and ash scattering (the following weekend) are done, I am heading up to Portland to take a look around the area to see if I want to move there. Well, to see which neighborhood I want to move to, as I am pretty sure the city and area appeals to me. I'm looking forward to it. And a little scared.
Does the Portland trip mean you're not coming up here the first weekend of Feb, Cass?
I'll know that tomorrow. I'm trying to squinch this trip in around Pamela's schedule as her DH is going to be recovering from a minor but intense surgery. So I am waiting til she shows up here tomorrow to really know exactly when I am heading up for a look see at Portland.
But, my plan right now is to go up there *immediately* after the scattering so I will be back by the following (aka: first of Feb) weekend. Alternately I will likely go to Portland the second weekend.
Basically, long-ass way of saying, I think I am still coming up there that weekend if it works for you and if I can get the rest of the planets to align just a wee bit.
Kiss Pamela for me.
I washed all my bedding today.
ALL the bedding. Usually its just the sheets and the bedspread. Today it was also the mattress pad and the blankets and all the shams.
Then I made up the bed with lavender linen spray.
Now I'm going to take a very hot scrubby shower and be all nice and nakey on my fresh sheets and sleep like a baby.
Okay, just let me know. That weekend does work, but after that, I'm gone for two weekends.

Wow, big change. What's attracting you to Portland? (But who will I stay with when I visit SD??)
Sympathy and punctuation, billytea. And yeah, the banal part really doesn't seem to work with the narrative flow of a live, does it?
Yay for Pamela, and yay for Portland! (Since we're probably making our perma-home somewhere in western Oregon...what? It isn't all about me?)
I tried to get Jilli a prezzie yesterday - a liquor store down on the Plaka had a very cool enameled metal poster advertizing absinthe ("Absente") with Van Gogh's self-portrait splitting into three and turning absinthe-green. But they refused to sell me the advertising.

Better make a friend at the zoo...
