[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Whoo! I sent an email to the Cookbook acct asking if I can get the three I bought shipped to their owners and not all to me. If I can, fantabulous. If not, no stress.

No problem, Cass.

Sunday was too nice to stay inside and watch playoff football so there was park-going:

Amazing weather for the middle of January.

It was a fun visit to the park, lots of playing, trail walking, and duck watching/annoying.

Mostly lurking...

I'm at work. For two hours. I'm easing back in. So, why do I have about 20 hours of work to do on my desk? He promised this wouldn't happen.

Also, fucked up something else, school/work-related.

Crawling in a whole and coming out when I'm out of this funk.

Just start with the top of the to-do list and work for 2 hours, and don't look at the big picture? If that's possible.

I agree. Do what you can, don't obsess or let it get you craxy, and let the manager deal with re-purposing unfinished work. It's his job to know the limits, perhaps he's gauging how much you do to get a reference point on how much to give you later. He may not even know how long some of the stuff takes.

Take a few deep breaths and work at a comfortable pace. Maybe write a note when you leave as to what you are working on, in case bossman is not there, or needs to know what to give to someone else.
