Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

Spike's Bitches 28: For the Safety of Puppies...and Christmas!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Damn it was a good day. But damn it was a long day too.

Highlights:

  • Whale watching trip on a 38-foot sailboat that actually resulted in whale viewage along with several hours out on the ocean on a gorgeous day. Sighhhhh. I snapped a few pics on my phone of the day but I haven't sent them anywhere. Actually I have sent them to a few people, I should clarifly that I haven't *posted* them anywhere yet.

  • My favorite pair of shoes were on hugantic sale so I have a pair in a pale tan (camel?) suede now. They were out in black or I would have bought a pair to have in reserve, I love them just that much.

Lowlights:

  • It was a fabulous day, I don't need to bitch about the parts that weren't as amazing. Yet.

they should be shipping on Saturday.
Whoo! I sent an email to the Cookbook acct asking if I can get the three I bought shipped to their owners and not all to me. If I can, fantabulous. If not, no stress.
Unemployment is meant for advancing any mental illnesses you have, exacerbating addictions (or cultivating new ones) and watching your pile of laundry grow.
*hearting* Erin like craxxxy.
The producers love me so much, they've already asked me onboard for their next show, which starts next week.
Excellent news, Seanie!
The cat provided the Asscaps.
Cats are tricksey on keyboards. Mine still occasionally turns on the faux-tenkey on the laptop. But now I know what it is, so less confused posting when it happens.

Must go take (predrawn) bath to soothe strange muscles. Must also slather the aloe on the sun and wind burned face.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The elevators in my building have news screens. they have taken to advertising lonelyplanetimages.com, with picture of MOLE RATS!! There are mole rat pictures in my place of work!

Aside from that, I'm feeling kind of sucky. But mole rats! They shall sustain me. And possibly leave me riding the elevator for a quarter hour each morning.

Yay mole rats! Are you going to get to work early so you can ride up and down before actually going to your desk?

Just saw that I typed "clarifly" in my last post and I don't want to edit and fix it. Because then clarifly might no longer exist and not even flies should face extinction due to human interference.

In less amusing discoveries, the land sick thing after you've been on the water ( Let's see if Kat lurks in Bitches... ) is way unfun when combined with cramps. I was good for the first six hours off of the boat but whoa the ick now. I don't know if I should be wishing I had Midol or I had Dramamine right now.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Thanks, everyone. I'm feeling pretty fantastic about this development. I'd tell everyone all about the show, but I'm under a confidentiality agreement. As soon as it gets announced, though. I'll spill everything.

I'm thrilled for you, even without details.

The status is NOT quo.

Cass, it sounds like you had an incredible day! I'm so very jealous of the sailing and the whale-watching.

I, meanwhile, made the fatal error of underestimating how long these narratives were going to take me. I have so far completed...drum roll please...14 of 62.

Oh yeah. Completely screwed. They're due tomorrow.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Oh good lord, hi. I am drunk posting and it's a MOnday night. Woo! Fuck, I need a job soon. This is all the fault of Rob, who is co-owner of Grant & Green, who is cute and totally do-able if I didn't live in the nabe, and also the fault of the jazz boys who just wouldn't. shut. up with the trumpets. I like tumrpets, but it shouldn't be the main focus of a jam session. Too much wankery in one place. Anyway. We did shots. SO, um, hi. Many hugs to Cass and Kristin and whomever else needs them. Yeah, they're drunken hugs, but I'm still cute, right? RIGHT???

Seriously, peeps need to come out and visit on Mon./Tues. Hella lot of fun, not so many annoying people.

Such the amazing day... However, not really loving the Right Now with the sober land moving, spinning and ohsofunI'magirlshit. I just swallowed a handful of ibuprofen though so I should be back to the happy soon. Because it was a good day and I would rather focus on that part.

I am sending some serious narrative-ma to you, Kristin.

Drunken Juliana!
