[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

WOO HOO Sean!

Good luck (I almost wrote "lick"--how Bitchly of me) on the interview, Daniel! I would advise being specific, personal, and concise. That's probably not very helpful, but if it's any consolation, it's the exact advice I've given myself about the 61 student narratives I have left to write tonight.

Speaking of...I'm freaking out a bit here. I'm increasingly getting the feeling that I won't be sleeping tonight. I have, however, graded 42 student essays (replete with comments) and 35 poetry revision quizzes this weekend, so go me! There will be more cheering in the wee hours of the morning when I finish.

I'm getting the pig!

So I guess you can't play literati tonight?

Sorry! The houseboy got out of his cage and escaped so it's all up to me to clean my cluttered home. Mostly my bedroom, which STILL looks like my closet exploded all over the floor. What a mess.

YAY Sean! Very happy for you.

Tep, no shoes yet? Oh, right. Holiday. Fingers crossed that they show up tomorrow.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Good luck finishing your grading, and getting at least some sleep, Kristin.

Nicole - last time we had our house appraised, they just did a drive by.

I'm working on homework, that is due tonight (queen of procrastination) and I am SO not in the mood. This is gonna kill me ded.

MG, I think you need a study break.

Hey, I know, you can come over here and hang out and fold my laundry for me.

Our wings are not tired.

Good advice from Kristin. If you would like me to look over your responses after you write them up feel free to send them my way. I've read many resumes in my years of hiring and would be happy to review for you.

Dear Kristin. You (and the other teachers here) just make me appreciate my children's teachers all the more. I don't know what we would do without your dedication.

You think you are teasing. Hah - I'd much rather fold laundry that write about the "social, political, and economic revolutions that took place in America as a result of the War for Independence".

Yeah? Well, for $325 she better haul her ass out of her car and drag it inside. (Actually, I asked her if she'd need to see the inside and she said yes so I guess I'll keep cleaning. Feh.)

But if Perkins wants to buy me a plane ticket, I'll gladly fold her laundry for her...

You can do it! Both of you!

Yay Sean! And I have faith in Kristin being awesomely productive!

How much is an appropriate amount to spend on a pair of boots? I feel like I ought to be able to get them cheap, now, but instead I just can't FIND any (note, I'm looking for a knee-high pair of brown boots, with a heel, not cowboy boots). I'm tempted by one of the pairs I found on zappos, but I feel like $140 is too much to pay, especially at this time of the season! And yet, I can't find anything I want in the stores...
